Acquisitions Department
The growth of the library collection is very much controlled and monitored by the acquisitions section. In collaboration with library staff, students and teaching staff, the section acquires reading materials through purchasing, subscriptions, donations/or gifts and exchange programs. Cataloging Department
The cataloguing section catalogues and classifies materials that have gone through the acquisitions section activities. Among other things the cataloguing section, determines which section the reading material will go to after it has gone through the cataloguing process. Information Systems Department
The information systems section provides support and promotes the library as a portal of information and communication using the state-of-the-art of technological innovations, in order to enable the university realizes its potential in academic excellence for lifelong learning culture. In this light, the section will lead in the deployment of technological innovations in order to enable the library achieve its leadership role as the resourceful information centre in the university. Reference Department
The reference section is dedicated to providing the best possible traditional and automated library services for the entire CUEA community. It promotes the academic research, supports classroom instruction and further the current and future personal development of all library users. It supports the curricular research and professional needs of the CUEA community by facilitating access to needed information and assisting users to access, retrieve and critically evaluate both physical and electronic information resources. Circulation Department
The circulation section is to provide appropriate levels of circulation services to CUEA community. The library user is the focus and excellent service to users is the main concern of our circulation services.
